A proud Huntsville native and dedicated Army veteran, I embrace my roles as a devoted Dad, PaPaw, and child of God. With 37 years of extensive experience in sales, including over 20 years specializing in residential new construction sales, I have honed my skills as a motivational speaker and sales trainer. My passion for helping others achieve their goals has led me to work as a corporate turnaround consultant and life coach, guiding businesses and individuals toward their full potential.

As a business owner, I find joy in creating meaningful connections and fostering growth in all aspects of life. When I'm not immersed in my professional endeavors, I love to play guitar, engage in competitive shooting, and spend quality time as a full-time PaPaw. My heart belongs to duck hunting and the companionship of dogs, making every moment spent outdoors a cherished experience.

As Chief Marketing Officer for Newton Homes, Dalton Richardson is redefining the standard for modern homebuilding. By blending high-level marketing strategy with a lifelong immersion in the trade, Dalton is positioning Newton Homes as a leader in approachable luxury—a brand that is as sophisticated in its design as it is transparent and genuine in its process.

Rooted in the Craft
Dalton’s perspective wasn’t formed in a boardroom; it was shaped on job sites. Growing up the son of a carpenter, cabinet maker, and home inspector, he spent his youth witnessing the dedication required to build things that last. This background gives Dalton a "builder’s intuition" that allows him to relate to the trade and the construction process more deeply than a typical executive. He understands that a home is more than a set of blueprints; it is a testament to craftsmanship and a sanctuary for the families who live there.

This philosophy is backed by a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and sharpened by pivotal professional milestones. Early in his career, Dalton contributed to the launch of HudsonAlpha’s Wiregrass Innovation Center, where he gained experience translating complex, high-level initiatives into clear, community-focused narratives. He now applies that same ability to simplify the complex to the homebuilding journey, ensuring the Newton Homes vision is cast with clarity and purpose.

Personal
Outside of the office, Dalton treasures time with his wife, Rachel, and their two dogs: Finn, an Aussiedoodle, and Phoebe, a Golden Retriever. Both have naturally claimed their roles as unofficial (and very enthusiastic) brand ambassadors.
